The next stop on Monday was the Wai-o-tapu Thermal Wonderland, a collectione of colorful mineral rocks, colapsed craters and sulfuric streams and lakes. One of the lakes, 65m in diameter and 62m deep was fizzliing from the sulf bubbles raising to the surface, and that's why it is called "The Shapagne Lake". In the evening we arrived at our new hostel in Taupo and went out for dinner: salmon pasta and the fish of the day: snapper in garlic cream sauce. Excellent food.
